"THE COURT OF OUR DEFENSE."

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16.

     The court comes from the Latin word meaning tribunes, which is a body whose purpose exercise jurisdiction over disputes, comprised of at least one judge, a lawyer and advocate, and, as to criminal cases a public prosecutor, a representative of the ministry public, in charge of the prosecution. Tribune, in ancient Rome, a magistrate was elected as chief of each tribe, and had assignments in several resolutions. Featured in verse, the writer to the Hebrews records the magnitude of the marvelous throne of grace, demonstrating the essence of divine love, it must be said, that the throne is for us, a majestic court constituted for our defense, composed of a judge and an advocate. The judge of that court is the Lord our God, the lawyer, is his Son Jesus Christ, as the accuser, is the adversary of our souls, which does not belong to the court, but his petulance and insolence makes accuse us before God day and night. This means that every time we sin, we have an advocate at our disposal, we advocate with the Father, however, we have to admit our mistake, humble ourselves, and with faith, we come to the throne of grace (the court of our defense), ask forgiveness of our error, or sin, turn our Advocate, Jesus Christ will mediate this request along to God, (the judge), and intercedes for us, Judge defers that request, giving the verdict through your child's blood that was shed on Calvary's cross, and cleanses us from all sin. I John 1.7.

    As for our accuser, he continues his accusatory exhibits, as John expresses when in their revelation of Revelation on Patmos, thus says: And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying: Now is come salvation, and strength and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which before our God accuses them day and night. Revelation 12.10. Thanks to our good God, there will come a day when our opponents do not acknowledge more, however, until that day comes, we have to live with this situation, since the devil does not cease to accuse us before our God, however, we are graced with God's favor, even without merit, He is at our disposal, anytime and moment of our lives, because this judge, never exchanging duty, nor vacations, day or night, with rainfall , winds, thunderstorms, Sundays or holidays, come boldly to the court, which will meet our requests, as the Psalmist declares: He will not let your foot slip, your wardrobe does not sleep. What keeps Israel never rests or sleeps. Psalm 121.3-4 (Hebrew Bible). Besides He is our supreme judge is also our guard for excellence and true, should we say, it's the only guard who never sleeps nor slumbers, nor vacations, but we have to come to court with your faith because of another so we are committing sins, since everything that we do, or go to God, it must be by faith, for without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11.6, further, in the above verse of our text, the writer tells us that trust is necessary, in order to be helped, and this help comes from our Advocate, interceding for us, without this confidence, our requests will be rejected by the Supreme Judge, if we are also at odds with our neighbor without bast forgiveness or ask not forgiveness, will be conditioned before God, while not ask forgiveness, pardon or release them, God does not forgive us. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire: This is the second death, and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:11-15.

     This court is damning, no appeals, no second chance, will not have any more the defender or lawyer, who was a lawyer, now is the judge, and judge in all righteousness and equity mankind's sins, big and small , rich and poor, God went to his son that mission, as described by the Evangelist John, and gave him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man. John 5.27. Someone may ask ourselves if a court is sentencing, so why judge whether already know will be convicted? Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11: 28-30.
