"The ENVY AND JEALOUSY IS THE WORKS OF SATAN."

The tranquil heart is the life of the flesh; but envy the rottenness of the bones. Proverbs 14:30.
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. James. 3.16.

Two cunning and devious traps, components of the same junction, both wholly owned by the satanic command, are the envy and jealousy. According to the definition of the word envy, according to the dictionary of the Portuguese language means Aurelius: Displeasure or weigh the good and the happiness of others, or even violent desire to possess the good of others. As for jealousy, is a jealous spite, therefore, understand that the two demonic attitudes are correlated with each other. Envy is so cruel that Solomon goes on to say, that causes the bones rot, summarizing mean, cause death, the apostle Paul says that envy is part of package wicked sins as fornication, wickedness, covetousness, wickedness, murder, strife, deceit, malignity. Romans 1.29. The Apostle Paul also expresses the contrast between love and jealousy, and says: Love is patient, is kind; love does not envy; love does not trifle with, is not puffed up. I Corinthians 13.4. Most striking is that the envious are part of our cycle of friends, our convivial and well arrivals sometimes are in our own home, in the case of Joseph of Egypt, his brothers out of jealousy, he was beloved his father, sold to the Ishmaelites of Gilead, in the spirit if they are our brothers who are around us, greet us, shake our hands, say they love us, and worst of all, want to see our order, no envious want the welfare of the one being envied, as the popular saying goes, he wants to pull the rug from the other, at any cost, to take his place, or even want until the death of another, as well as bankruptcy, as to material goods, the first case of envy, took place in heaven, locking up a spiritual battle, when the angel of God more confidence, rebelled against the Almighty, filling superb pride and envy, wanting to be equal God, why was cast out of heaven below. Isaiah 14:12-15.

So terrible is the envy, that neither Jesus escaped envious, as described by the evangelist Mark; for he knew that for envy the chief priests had delivered him. Mark 15:10. The chief priests, who in the Old Testament, as in the new were among the Hebrews, consecrated persons and ordered of God, and the Lord had envy, since they could not work the miracles that Jesus performed, and gave the criminals to be crucified like also happened to Isaac when a drought occurred, and famine devastated the entire region of Canaan, but the Lord commands from Isaac to another region, since going down to Egypt, and he was to Generate Abimaleque which reigned in the land of Philistines, and there the Lord has blessed you greatly multiplying their crops, ie, God added his formula hundredfold, planted and harvested one hundred, and he began to dig their wells to give water to their animals, and also for drinking, and thus prospered greatly enriching, and becoming mighty in that region, and this caused jealousy among the Philistines, and began clogging wells with debris, and Isaac had to relocate to the valley of Gerar, and there, God also blessed him greatly, as Genesis chapter twenty-six. Now we analyze the following; if Jesus, being the Son of God, has not escaped the envious, imagine if there happen to us, it is clear that yes, who has ministry, someone in your living, the envy, and other positions in the church, or even in our Christian life, or in our everyday life, we are always envious of targets, however; when someone jealous of us, is cause for loud glorify God, because no one is jealous of a rapist, a robber, a thief, a pedophile, if you envy me and you, it is because we are blessed by God , loved and cherished by your love, as I John 4:19. It should be said, that victory for those who are targets of envious, is humbling himself patiently, and remain under the powerful hand of God, so that when their time, He (God Himself) may exalt you, I mean; earn the victory. James 4.10. Otherwise suffer detriment, or even death, because the action of envy is totally evil and diabolical. In the case of Joseph in Egypt, he won because he humbled himself, and became dependent on God, and God exalted him him as governor of Egypt, so also Isaac won, remaining humble in the presence of God, with patience, and God became one of the richest men of the region, and his enemy King Abimelech, surrendered and confessed saying, now I know that thou blessed of the Lord. Genesis 26.28-31.
As for jealousy, envy differs slightly, it is also controlled by satan, which the opening verse of our text, recorded by the Apostle St. James, where there is jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil work; then realize that such an attitude is not of God, and also have someone who claims to have holy jealousy, we will never sanctify that which is evil, many misinterpret a verse in the bible that says so: Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain : The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? James 4.5. We see that the Apostle asks a question, not a statement, continuing to read, in the next verse where we find the answer yes, presents a statement saying: But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Others say that God's jealousy means zeal, another wrong version, God has so much for all your zeal, but have nothing to do jealousy, jealous, achievements are the result of God of his great love, and need not be jealous. In everyday life, happens a lot between spouses, submit jealous of each other, but the result is not good, and exactly what happens Apostle James says that where there is jealousy, there is confusion and every evil work. James 3:16, then we conclude that jealousy is a bad, connotation incompatible with the character of God.

When we find a jealous person, that person expresses the fear of losing something, or lack of full confidence evidently does not bring good result, it becomes sickly, and Satan takes the opportunity to interfere in the case, complicating the situation further, leading even suicide or murder, because that's your role as Jesus referred to the enemy of our souls, calling him a thief, and said: the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life and have it more abundantly. John 10:10. Finally, we conclude that neither envy nor jealousy belong to God, because according to Paul, are fruits of the works of the flesh, and who does them, shall not inherit the kingdom of God as the text says: Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousies, wraths, factions, contentions, parties, envy, drunkenness, orgies , and things like these, of which I forewarn you before as I have forewarned you that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21. So there is no holy envy, jealousy nor holy, God is not in this business, are designs and traps of Satan, and many have fallen on the.
